Through staged scenarios and found footage, in narratives that oscillate between the fictional and the documentary—life learned as terror, or as fiction—Jacob Schill’s practice interrogates ideals of control and processes in which individuals become themselves.
Born in 1993, Jacob Schill is a Swedish artist and filmmaker living in Copenhagen, Denmark. Schill graduated in 2024 from The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts under artists Jane Jin Kaisen and Agnieszka Polska.
